Bay Area Advertising Relief Committee

The Bay Area Advertising Relief Committee (BAARC) is a non-profit organization providing emergency financial support and other key resources for professionals in the nine county Bay Area advertising and marketing community. BAARC's assistance is provided with complete confidentiality to maintain the dignity and privacy of all grant recipients.

Established in 1984, the organization’s support extends to all areas of the industry, including advertising, promotions, and media agencies, media sales representatives, public relations firms, industry vendors, corporate marketers, and freelancers.

While there are some basic parameters for receiving a BAARC Grant, every application for financial assistance is considered on a case-by-case basis. The Grants Committee considers each application individually and regularly reviews the cases with the Board. If an applicant’s situation doesn’t fall within the organization’s guidelines, BAARC still encourages industry professionals to contact them so that they can provide information about other resources.

Visit the BAARC website for more information.
