The San Francisco Chapter of the American Marketing Association (SFAMA) is seeking donations for our silent auction and sponsors for the SFAMA’s Excellence in Marketing Award celebration (Hilton Financial District, San Francisco, May 15, 2008). This is a fun, high energy event, offering one of a kind exposure and loads of opportunities to reach Bay Area marketers, those with the talent and capacity to take your company to the next level of success.

Over half of the proceeds generated from the silent auction donations go toward funding the SFAMA’s Collegiate Excellence Awards (CEA), a competition run by student leaders with the three SFAMA collegiate chapters (The University of San Francisco (USF), San Francisco State University (SFSU), and Golden Gate University (GGU). The CEA recognizes three students for their outstanding contributions as judges of the Excellence in Marketing Award nominees.

We have limited sponsorships available and encourage you get in on the action soon!

Sponsorship opportunities include:

  • CATEGORY LEADER @ $5,000 – NON-COMPETING ONLY – Two slots available

  • BRAND BUILDER @ $2,500 – COMPETING ONLY – Four slots available

  • INNOVATOR @ $1,200 – COMPETING OKAY – Four slots available

  • MARKET LEADER @ $500 – COMPETING OKAY – Six slots available

In recognition of your donation, you will receive the following:
  • Mention of your company and prize contribution in the Excellence in Marketing Awards program;

  • An announcement by the event’s emcee for each prize your company donates;

  • Video projection of your company name and prize during the awards reception;

  • Acknowledgement of your company and prize in the SFAMA newsletter and on SFAMA.org

Door prize and silent auction donations can include a variety of items such as:
  • Wine: case, magnum or special bottles

  • Food/gift baskets

  • Tickets to sports events, concerts or other events

  • Gift certificates/cards: restaurants, hotel/inn packages, retail merchandise, etc.

  • Business items: software, hardware, services, etc.

  • Personal service items: personal training, tennis lessons or spa packages

  • Collectibles: art, sports or entertainment celebrity-autographed items

  • Special Connections: lunch, dinner or drinks with your company’s executive

The San Francisco Chapter of the American Marketing Association (SFAMA) is a Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation incorporated in California, organized exclusively for educational purposes, within the meaning of Internal Revenue Code section 501(c)(3) or the corresponding provision of any future United States internal revenue law. All monies raised or donated to SFAMA will go toward fulfilling our objective of fostering the advancement of the discipline of marketing.
